Scanning and labels

What you can scan, which scanners work, and how labels are printed.

The Scan Station opens anything you scan: item, bin and shipment labels, sales order numbers and carrier tracking numbers. It works with USB and Bluetooth scanners and with your webcam.

You don't need the Scan Station open: scanning a label on any screen, with no field selected, opens it too.

Printers

Zebra label printers are set up in Settings → Documents & labels through Zebra Browser Print. Labels can be routed to a specific printer, and work-instruction steps can override the printer.

Labels you can print

Item labels with the product photo, and custom ZPL labels per product.
Location and bin labels.
Work-instruction step labels, one per job or one per unit.
4 × 6 packing slips.
